Smoke damage to silver contents

After a fire occurred in the city of Chicago, SERVPRO of Northbrook/Wheeling/Glencoe were called to the scene to asses the damages.  This customer had many silver items that were covered in soot.  Cleaning silver is a very delicate process that takes time.  Crews are not only cleaning the soot off the silver, but they are also cleaning the tarnish off the silver as well.  This process is so delicate because silver can very easily be scratched, which ruins the look of the product.  No matter what the cleaning job may be, SERVPRO of Northbrook/Wheeling/Glencoe can handle it!
