Flooded basement in Park Ridge
After the recent rain we got in Chicago, we received a call from a customer who had 2 inches of water in their basement. The sump pump couldn't keep up with the water that was backing up and it failed. The crews went out on a Sunday morning with submersible pumps and extractors to get whatever water we could out of the basement. By the time it was fixed, the crews had extracted the bulk of the water and set up drying equipment to stabilize the situation. Because it was not clean water, the carpet needed to be removed, and the walls needed to be cut. Whatever the problem is, SERVPRO can always lend a helping hand.
