Nursing Home Pipe Burst
After a pipe had burst at a nursing home in Morton Grove, our crews responded to a call late on a Sunday night. Our crews are always on standby for these types of emergencies. Our crews came out and extracted all the water that we could and began to set up drying equipment. Once everything had been stabilized, we came back the next day and walked through the facility with an infrared camera to pinpoint the exact path that the water had traveled down from the fourth floor. Using an infrared camera on these losses is crucial to getting everything back as quickly as possible. If we know where all the wet areas are, we can either remove building materials quickly, or place drying equipment appropriately to adequately dry the structure. Working in a timely manner on commercial losses is crucial in order to get the business back up and running. If you ever need any assistance, give the professionals at SERVPRO of Northbrook/Wheeling/Glencoe a call day or night at (847)498-8889.
