Ice storm caused water in this basement

During our long, and cold winter in Chicago, there were plenty of Ice dams caused by the amount of snow accumulating on peoples roofs.  This was a bizarre one because the water from the ice dam actually skipped two levels, and ended in the basement.  Crews were tasked with extracting the affected carpet, removing the padding, removing the pergo flooring, cleaning and disinfecting the floor, and setting up drying equipment.  We see many ice dams a year, and we know exactly how to address them.  Whatever the case maybe, SERVPRO can always help!  Give us a call today at (847)707-5533.
